As to the February 2024 report on the results of implementing Project 06 of Vietnam Social Insurance, 100% of health insurance medical examination and treatment facilities have implemented the usage of chip-based citizen identification for health insurance medical examination and treatment. Thereby, there have been over 60.2 million times successfully looking up health insurance card information using chip-based citizen identification to serve health insurance examination and treatment procedures.

Instead of being forced to physically visit the licensing office to submit a hard copy of the driving health certificate like before, people can now apply for the re-issuance or exchange of their licenses entirely online thanks to the integration of driving health certificates with Vietnam Social Security's system. With the connection of birth certificates and death notices through the system of Vietnam Social Insurance, people can carry out the entire process online for 2 groups of interconnected administrative procedures.

The Social Insurance of provinces and centrally run cities have resolved 615,863 dossiers requesting the issuance of health insurance cards for children under 6 years old and 7,678 dossiers requesting the settlement of funeral expenses.
